My Employer was notified by 401k Admin.

I have a 401k loan that is deducted from my payroll. The loan, under the (yet to be confirmed) plan will continue to be paid. My payroll office forwarded me a copy of an email they received from the company's 401K administrator. It was an "FYI..." along with the copy of the court's confirmation hearing notice.

Is this customary? I had hoped my employer would not be involved or in-the-know of my BK filing.

Usually the box "exclude from mailing matrix" is checked in these situations (or at least it has been my experience). However, what's done can't be undone
I am not a lawyer - I just play one on TV. It is always in your best interest to seek legal advice from a competent attorney licensed in your state. Any information I post here should not be construed as legal advice.
