    Err Err Err

I think I really messed myself up here, after reading a post about the 60 day club.

I borrowed $250 from a payday advance place local to my home. I'm paying it back in full next week, but I'm afraid this is going to hurt me. I didn't realize I couldn't, or rather, I wasn't thinking about it when I had to pay my electric bill.
    My 341 is on 12/13.

    Any suggestions???

Its a small enough amount that you'll probably be ok. Let your attorney know to be on the safe side.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

you are never ever again allowed to borrow using a pay day loan.

they rip you off and laugh at you when you walk out the door? did you know that?

this is what they look like behind the glass after you leave --->

ok honeslty, im just trying to show you that you really cant use those places cuz they are taking your money.

some ideas: try taking one of the free credit education classes offered through the Consumer Credit Counseling Service. i took one, it was free and learned a lot of great things.

also, cut back on a few things and save the money so that you can pay the electricity. i dont know what you spend so i cant help directly.

i know you can do it since i know you can do anything you want to do!
Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

Repeat...YOU ARE NEVER ALLOWED TO BORROW FROM A PAYDAY LOAN PLACE!!!!!
Next time, call the utility co. or whoever AHEAD of time and make payment arrangements.
The one place where we could use Lightning on this board is to do a "sticky" on Payday and Title loans.

there was a big write up in sundays columbus dispatch about these places, how terrible they are. I'm not passing judgement, cause we were using them as well. Thankfully we've broken that cycle, cause once you get in, it's harder then hell to get out.

I must agree once you start the payday loan cycle it is very difficult to break. I am also a recovering payday loan-a-holic. Please don't start that cycle over again as they are very much a big rip off. I HATE THOSE PLACES AND I WISH THERE WAS SOME WAY TO ABOLISH THEM. They are just legalized loan sharks, who pray on us when we are at our lowest.

You know something that's funny, there's nothing but pay day loan advertisements at the bottom of this page.

You noticed the Pay Day Loan ads too, huh? Ya, we became emeshed in the PDL net. It is a very vicious cycle to break out of, and they do capitalize on the fact that they have attention of the very sub-prime market. I am just waiting for HSBC to begin acquiring these places. HSBC seems to be everywhere.

Stay away from PDL and title loan places!

my screen doesnt show pay day loan ads. it just shows 2 or 3 'bk information' and 'bk attorney' ads only all the time.

this is the link that i use for this site. wonder if you guys are using something different. i bet it has to to with how you found the site or what you have searched for before.

I had a minister friend who had a man come in seeking some help. He had borrowed $500 from some payday loan places and now owed $2000. My friend looked at the loans. Int rates on the 3 were 88%, 93% and 188%!
y friend was able to negotiate the payment for the guy down to $1000, but even that was a rip-off. Stay clear. Art

I think the Google ads pick up on key words on the page and show ads that have a common theme.

Looks like it did not work. Maybe the payday loans goons scared the girl of your dreams away?
