    When to stop CC bills?

I know we are filing but maybe not till June to avoid a December bonus from being included. When should we stop paying the credit cards? I honestly don't think I can keep up till then anyways, but do not want to be sued between now and then.

If you know you are filing then (or soon) you should be alright if you stop now. You typically have a good 6 months or more before you would have to worry about a lawsuit, you should be fine I think.

Most attorneys will advise you to stop paying all dischargeable unsecured debts as soon as you know you will file.

Filed Chap 13 April 2010. Discharged May 2015.
$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!
