Collections from a creditor that was listed in our BK

I'm being billed for services from 12-05 to 12-17, we filed on 12-5 and the creditor was listed, any thoughts on this?

I always thought ho wiped out debt to filing date and anything after filing date, you were responsible for.
    8-07-09-filed Chapter 7
    11-18-09-DISCHARGED!!

Life is not what challenges you face, but how you face those challenges.

Who was this creditor? If it is a utility, then the bill is accurate. Remember, a bankruptcy discharges every debt which arose before the date on which the petition was filed. In other words, the day before you filed is the date to use. In this case, the bankruptcy could (or would) discharge "dischargeable" debts through and including 12/04/2012.

      Is this a utility?
