Is there a guide to the best and most effective foreclosure defenses? Maybe on can be started here. Also, when all defenses have failed is it possible to file for a "Suggestion For Bankruptcy" without actually filing got bankruptcy?

Foreclosure defense is so State specific, due to State laws regarding a variety of topics, that it is probably not a good idea.

A "suggestion of bankruptcy" requires that you have actually filed bankruptcy, specify the name of the District/Division, the case number and the date of filing. Filing a false paper with any court is a criminal offense (it is a felony in California and Florida and may be in other States). A criminal charge could be regardless of whether the paper is actually used as evidence in a trial.

Your best solution is to hire a competent legal professional that specializes in real property law or very specifically specializes in foreclosure defense.
