    home loan application question

When your house is in foreclosure, does the lender go over your previous application for the loan that was made 8 years prior? I may have made an error on mine.

No. There is no reason to review the application for credit. Most of them did not perform their due diligence anyhow, so it would be like pointing out that they did not confirm what's in the application. Many loans, even with documentation, actually ended up as "no documentation" (low documentation) loans.
