    "Filed" date and PACER

I took a deep breath last week and mailed in my Chapter 7 paperwork. It arrived at the court on 5/31 (yesterday). Is the 31st considered my filing date? And does anyone know how long it takes to see my case in PACER? Thank you!

Not sure but you may have to give the clerk a day or so to process it so filed date may be today.

You filing date will be the date is was received. It usually take 2-3 business days for the Intake clerk, that handles case opening, to setup everything and get the documents scanned into PACER.

This is very good to know. I was beginning to experience the "I just spent countless hours to complete this as perfectly and accurately as humanly possible and there might be a problem which will make my life hell" kinds of thoughts. Whew!
