electronic filing Iowa for Pro Se

I'm new on this forum, but I wanted to share some information about electronic filing in Iowa.

Iowa is moving over to filing with the courts electronically with a county by county rollout. Unlike most states, electronic filing will be mandatory in Iowa for all filers, including pro se.

So far, only Plymouth county and Story county are using the new system, but eventually it will be state-wide.

I'm too new to post links, but google these for resources on the subject--

The Iowa State Bar Association has put out an illustrated guide on e-filing with the courts called Guide to Electronic Filing in the Iowa Courts ... www*iowaelectronicfiling*com

the Iowa courts has a website for edms documentation online, just search on google for "edms filing iowa documentation"

Are you talking about the local "non-bankruptcy" courts? I don't see CM/ECF being used for electronic docket entries and filings in the Bankruptcy Court for pro se filers happening anytime soon.
          Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
