Adelman, Gettleman, Merens, Berish & Carter, Ltd. was founded in March,1983 by Howard L. Adelman and Chad H. Gettleman, both of whom have devoted theirentire professional career to the areas of bankruptcy, corporate, reorganizationand insolvency, and commercial litigation. In 1990, Henry B. Merens became apartner in the firm and has likewise devoted his entire professional career tothe foregoing areas of concentration. In addition to commercial litigation inthe state and federal courts, the firm has participated in major bankruptcy andreorganization cases, representing debtors, secured creditors and committees.The firm has an extensive internal continuing legal education program.
