The firm traces its origins to when C. Edwin Allman, Jr. came to Winston-Salem, N.C. in 1962 to begin his practice of law. It was his vision to assemble a small group of exceptionally talented attorneys who shared certain core values beyond simply providing high quality legal services. Mr. Allman sought out individuals with a commitment to improve through service the quality of life in the community and state; a dedication to personal professional development and growth; a dedication to establishing and maintaining long term client relationships; and above all, a commitment to conduct the practice of law with the highest degree of personal and professional integrity.

Today, the legacy of Mr. Allman is Allman Spry Leggett & Crumpler, P.A., a firm which distinguishes itself from other law firms by offering sophisticated legal counseling in a cost effective manner. Indeed, clients often comment that they are surprised to find a firm handling such complex matters for such reasonable fees.

Without question, the firm’s success is attributable to the quality of our people—attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff. Remarkably, 80% of the attorneys at the firm have more than ten years of law practice experience and over half have been practicing more than twenty years.
