Bleakley Law Offices' founder and president, Frederick W. Bleakley, has been a life long resident of West Michigan. Growing up in Grand Rapids, Fred's father practiced workers' compensation law and represented insurance companies. Fred saw first hand how insurance companies operated, saving money at the expense of injured workers and their families When Fred became an attorney in 1986, he broke with family ties and tradition, and began a successful career representing injured and disabled workers, not insurance companies.

Through hard work, integrity and long hours of dedicated service, Fred put his client's interests at the forefront and his practice, in turn, quickly grew once word got out. He purchased and moved his firm into the prestigious Hovey House, a Queen Anne Victorian home in the historic district of Muskegon.
