James E. Buchmiller, Ltd.

James E. Buchmiller is a graduate of Washington University, St. Louis School of Business with majors in accounting and economics and law school. He was City Attorney for 25 years; State's Attorney of Bond County and Village Attorney for many years for several villages and attorney for municipalities such as airport authorities, fire protection districts and townships.

He was an insurance adjuster for an automobile insurance company and thereafter went into private practice. He has more than 35 years experience in trials of all kinds including plaintiffs' personal injuries as well as representing various insurance companies in defense from time to time. He has tried through completion many different types of cases including personal injury; real estate disputes; family cases of all kinds; bankruptcies; contracts and others.

He is on the Board of Directors of Attorney's Title Guaranty Fund, one of the largest writers of residential real estate title insurance in the state of Illinois and handles real estate closings and issues real estate title insurance.

Throughout his career he has handled probate matters of all types including estate planning; preparation of wills; trusts; powers of attorney.

All matters are handled expeditiously with all communications being handled promptly and cases moved to conclusion at the earliest possible date.
