This is the general exemption statute for Nevada, but some exemptions are found elsewhere in the code

Some good news on the Wage Exemption front in Nevada, the Nevada Supreme Court just came down with a decision that holds that a debtor may exempt 75% of all wages held in a debtor's bank account that is traceable as wages.

There was a dispute as to whether the exemption applied to only one weeks worth of pay (thus allowing the trustee to take more than 25% of a persons wages if that person was paid bi-weekly, for example, if you are paid $2,000 every two weeks, and that money is deposited in your checking account, the trustee argued that he would be entitled to $1,250 because the debtor was only allowed to exempt 75% of one weeks worth of pay in a bank account). The Court held that the exemption applies to ALL wages held in a debtor's bank account.
