    Question

    What is PACER??

    #2
As far as I can tell it's some online electronic service people can sign up for that links in with the state of the case from the court's point of view. They charge for at least certain inquiries. My impression is that it's only really needed for attorneys and the impatient!

Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

VCIS seems to work fine for me

When I've felt impatient, I've just called up VCIS. From what I can tell, it has the same info as PACER. Is there ever a reason you'd need to use PACER instead of VCIS?
