    60 Days

(60 days)When the clerk's office closes, or does it expire at midnight to file objections on the last day.

    #2
midnight on day 60 as far as i know. it's not at midnight on day 59, they still have that entire day 60 to get it in by midnight of that 60th day. however, usually, or rarely do creditors what into the 11th hours, although it does happen it's not the norm.

        great!!!

you had an adversary proceeding? what was the outcome does it indicate on pacer. usually when a creditor files one, there is a hearing and the the trustee makes a decision on whether it's a valid claim. usually (fraud), a pretty hard on to prove in court, but happens rarely.

so does it indicate the outcome? i'm not a pacer user so i haven't a clue how these get reported.

I just had a couple of big items $6500 that they could have made a stink about.
It was over the 6 month mark, but they actually can go back as far as they want.
I haven't had any new filing since may 5th. when that nut in Fla filed. Seems he does that on everybody.I didn't even owe anything to GE money.

You should sign up for pacer, just use it to check any new filings. I was pro se so I felt I had to.

I've never had to pay pacer anything.

nope, i'm not the pacer type, but thanks for the suggestion. we are way over it, been discharged for a while now and i did everything via mail and the atty's office.

well, i know this, in our district, the trustee would NEVER even look or accept an AP if the amount in question was over that 90 day period. of course that was then and this is now. the law is clear and apparently, or at least the trustee we had wouldn't even consider a creditor complaining or attempting to file at day 91. so really by law they are not allowed to go as far back as they want, unless they are substantial proofs you committed fraud and that's a pretty difficult to prove in a court. it would have had to have been overwhelming evidence against you.

we had a few with GE money as well. but we hadn't use the cards in approx 1 year prior to filing. i so glad to hear it sounds like you're in the clear now!
