    My Chap 7 case is finally closed!

    Well after 21 months my Chap 7 (with assets) case is closed!

    I got the letter yesterday from the court stating that the funds were distributed, the trustee dismissed and everything held in the estate was released and the case closed. What a relief this is.


    I want to thank everyone here who helped me over this time and say I would have gone crazy without this forum.

    $143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!

          congrats and I am dreading the thought of mine staying open that long................if you guys don't mind me asking how much did the trustee actually distribute? and what was the total debt
