how do you look at pacer?

Can you look at various cases? How can you look for cases specifically, like where there were objections, dismissals, etc?

    thanks!

PACER was a lifesaver for me during my BK7. You can search by last name, case number, etc. - I never looked at anyone's but mine, but since it's public record I guess you could look up any case you wanted to. Once you pull it up from the search page, you're able to see all documents, the status, the involved parties.... Just about anything to do with that particular case.

Keep in mind you'll be charged 8 cents for each page you view, which can add up pretty quickly. I opted not to give my debit card information, so they sent me a password in the mail. After $10, they send a bill in the mail. I kept mine under $10 so hopefully I won't be billed.

Hope this helps. PACER is a gold mine of information. If I hadn't had access to it, I wouldn't have had a clue what was going on with my BK because my attorney wasn't great about telling me things.
