Need help....please.........

....from anyone knowlegeable with spreadsheets.
Started to prepare a spreadsheet listing my credit cards.
Fist column - name of creditor
Second column - date of statement
Third column - balance as of statement date. Highlited that column and clicked on the $ - which shows $sign and amount. Example $150.00.
All the amounts in that column are like that - except one. That one does not include the $ sign and the amount that I put in is on the left side.
Don't have any problems like this with any other $ related informational columns.

Try right clicking in the actual cell you are having problems with. Then choose "format cells". Pick "accounting" and choose 2 for decimal places and $ for symbol. (You can also highlight the entire column and right click and do the same thing in case you add stuff later it will be formatted correctly).
