    New Offers?!?!?

You gotta be kidding me?!?! My credit score is down to 520ish (from a high of 740), I'm carrying more cc debt than anyone has a right to, and I'm STILL getting offers in the mail for new credit! I can't believe it!

Thankfully, I'm not a compulsive shopper or else I'd be hitting the stores again. It really makes me wonder what they are thinking!

They are thinking that if they can get you to accept their offers, then they can ratejack you and change outrageous fees and drive you back into debt, only this time you won't be able to declare bankruptcy.

You are getting them because your name is listed on mailing lists. Receiving them doesn't mean you will be accepted if you apply. The best thing to do is shred them and toss them in the recycle bin and opt out of future offers. The information to opt out of those offers is listed right on the form.
