Hi all... I see a lot of states represented here but was wondering if anyone reading this filed Chapter 7 and had a 341 meeting specifically in California. I'm in southern CA but I guess it doesn't matter where in the state you are... My 341 is June 27th and I'm trying to not be too nervous. I used a paralegal service for my paperwork, not a lawyer, so my big question now is do I just need to bring my DL and SS card to the meeting or should I go prepared with pay stubs, bank statements and tax returns like some people in other states have said? Just for reference, my case is fairly uncomplicated: I'm single with no assets, I don't own a home or other property, no businesses, only a car that I still owe 4 years of payments on and am reaffirming - other than that, all my debt is cc's. And if I do need to bring pay stubs, tax returns, etc. will the court let me know? Because I'm not sure if the paralegal service (Justice for All) will let me know.
Also, does anyone have any idea approximately how long I should expect it to be between filing (May 27th) and receiving the form for reaffirmation of my car? It's financed through Bank of America. I just made the June payment today, on time.
