    Not sure what to do...

Hello...I found this forum through a friend and I am hoping someone here can give me some answers.

About 3 years ago my husband hours took a blow at work.
I had 4 credit cards at the time and was unable to make the minimum payments and feed my family...so naturally I chose the latter. I tried going through a cosolidation company (NCC) and paid them monthly for 2 years. Well the company was shut down by the FTC and by then the cards had been charged off. The company I was going through was a settlement company and had told me to stop paying the credit cards. They settled with one of the cards but there were 4 left that had not been settled. Bank of America, AT&T Universal, and Citibank. So now...this week...after 3 years I have been served with 2 summons. I don't know what to do!
Is it still possible to negotiate with these people or is court inevitable?
HELP! I'm freaking out about this and not sure where to go from here!

    Thanks in advance!

    No one can help?

I was hoping to get a reply by now.
No one knows if the creditors will still be willing to negotiate with me or not?

There is really no way for someone here to answer that. They best way to find out is ask the creditors. Sorry you in such a mess. Hope you can get it resolved.
