Thumbs up ! Welcome to the 60 Day Club !

Welcome To The 60 Day Club!

Your 341 is now over! Great to hear! Whoo-hooo! You made it!

! IMPORTANT: Please sign your name and swear to abide by the 60 Day Club rules !

Welcome to the ‘60 Day’ waiting period! Yes, this would have been a total hell-on-a-stick waiting period for you but since you have joined our club everything will go smooth for you.

Through these halls proudly walk (scared as hell) new filers into their final process of BK.

Please be seated. Don't make any sudden moves and stay low and quiet until you get your discharge.

Any changes made during this 60 day period can and may affect your BK outcome.

Remember, the trustee is still rolling the 20 sided ‘Land Of The Doomed’ dice to determine if they will complain about something.

Also, the US Trustee has just marked their calendar and set their alarm clock for your ‘Day 59’ otherwise known as the ‘US Trustee Day To Complain’. On that 59th day he looks into the magic ball and receives an answer as to whether or not he should file the ‘Motion To Dismiss’ based on a very special BK criteria known as the ‘Is There Any Money For ME’ benefit, opps I meant rule!

Creditors are planning to file a motion to an ‘Determine Dischargeability Of Debt’ at this moment and are trying to find your attorneys number as we speak. If they find the number then a call will be made usually within 30 days from now.

You are a protected member of the ’60 Day Club’ and have nothing to worry, if nothing happens from here on out that is

If we see you stand up to take out a loan, or get a payday advance, or change jobs for triple your income, or ask for your hummer back from grandma or visit your island that you bequeathed to your brother months earlier then you will hear a loud screeching alarm warning you to think twice and contact your attorney immediately!

Wait, who are those scum suckers back there! Security! Take those slime ball creditors out of here immediately! This is a club for people with compassion and understanding!

Ok, now lets begin.

Raise your right hand and swear to us that you wont cry, every feel like crying and nothing that even looks like your gonna crying so help you god. Ok, you may be seated.

We have verified your identity using obvious logic instead that goes as such: Why wouldn’t it be you that attended the 341 meeting? After all, who in their right mind would show up to take your place at a 341 meeting in front of the trustee and any creditors not to mention 40 other people staring at you?

Please stay calm and drink the liquid ‘Relax-mi-now-damn-it’ medication our friendly BK alumni’s are passing out from the sides of the room. Thanks for all their help with our BK questions!

Repeat after me ‘I respect my Trustee and US Trustee and understand how hard their job is. I admire them for letting my case pass through without a hitch. They deserve only the best in life along with me too’

You will soon feel very relaxed like you are floating on the clouds…

You are confident your attorney took exactly all the right steps to ensure your success…

Everything is going your way…

You can see the courthouse from up here in the clouds. Look! There you are shaking hands with the Trustee, US Trustee and the BK Judge as they wish you well in your journey…

Our 60 Day Club members working inside at the creditors offices have already deleted your attorneys phone number from the their records, so all is well…

You are moving into the happy place in your life…

You are confident that the creditors stamped your bk petition with ‘No-Action Needed’ and filed it away the very day they received it…

Nothing to fear…

You are confident that no trustee or US trustee is balking at your bk papers…

Your are beginning to feel very sleepy…

You are confident that the Court Clerk, also a current member of the 60 Day Club, is on your side and deletes any Adversarial Motions filed on your case, no matter how many times they get refiled…

Sleepy, very sleepy…

You are confident there will be no more new filings on your case and there is no longer any reason to check pacer…

You will now think and dream happy thoughts for 60 days…

You will be gently awoken you on the 61st date with a signed of your discharge papers and a brand new fresh start on life!

You will do well!

oh no! the trustee has dismissed my bk on charges of 'Standard Discharge Of Creditor Criteria' stating that I would be contacted by the US Trustee and brought up on charges. this is a nightmare! also added that agents would be contactiing me for a 2004 Financial Audit Review. I need 10 years of bank account statements and reciepts for everything purchased during that time plus name date and telephone number of all people i have come into contact with as well. he added that he would subpoena credit card applications to verify fraud. this is terrible!

so i slipped the trustee a $50 under the table and he changed his mind

whoo hooo! my 341 is now over. everything went fine. trustee never asked any questions.

i'm now in the 60 day club! i swear to abide by the rules!

whoo hoooo!

Hey BKfiler-what 'relax me' drink did you choose?

Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Hey-I'll 'fess up. My 'relax mi' drink these days is white rum & diet cherry pepsi. No carbs, and the rum I buy is CHEAP-about $9/bottle!

And I've only checked pacer about every 2-3 weeks. Checked it last a couple of weeks ago to make sure my final fee payment posted. (It did.)

Something just occurred to me-I've really not thought much about this by choice-2 weeks from today is my deadline for objections!

If you start drinking it will make the next 60 days go faster.
Congrats on the 341!

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while, and I wanted to say thanks for all the information...this site is awesome! My husband and I filed October 13th and had our 341 today. It went well, I think. Just the standard questions, so I guess the waiting begins. I'm also still trying to decde about my car...let it go or keep it...2 pmts. behind, but I really would like to keep it, because I'm not upsidedown at all...we'll see...

TIP: if you have to check pacer then be sure to just log in and query your social. the screen that comes up give you a 'last filing' date or something to that effect. if that doesnt change then there is nothing to check i believe.

Good thread Bkfiler. Being in the 60 day club has so far been worth all the pre 341 worry. My life is so different and now I am within 30 days of discharge (if all happens on time and without a hitch)! So yippy and hurray for all of us 60 day members.
