It's got a huge yard, which is nice, but looks outdated with the mirrors and paneling (sorry for the honesty).
Also Be careful of that wood paneling. My parents house had it in a lot of the 3 bedrooms, which at the time they didnt care cause they were going to tear it down anyways, however behind the paneling the walls were TERRIBLE!!!! Huge cracks which they hadn't expected! My parents had to do alot of extra repairs.
If you don't mind how much is it (being from the same state.).....privately if you don't want to listen to all the stupid trolls and such.
Asking is 119,900, our first offer will be 100,000 with possesion 1 week prior to close to repair and repaint. THey are long gone from the house. We know it's a risk to put our time and money into prior to close but with the kids it would give hubby more time to make it decent for us to move into.
The paneling is in the basement so behind it should be poored cement. For now we are just going to be leaving it as is or painting it white.
The porn mirrors are comming down before we move in.
I like the hardwood floors! My downfall is that I am into kitchens. I would really like someday to have one of those wow kitchens with the viking range, subzero fridge, granite, ect. Do not care about the rest of the house, it does not even have to be very big. I can sleep in the kitchen!!!!!
Are there any windows in the kitchen? It looks really narrow and dark. The dark paneling would definately have to go. I would really explore what needs to be done with this house. What's your budget for remodeling?
It's really very nice, overall. The yard is GREAT!! And you'll love having that little barn/storage building to store all your lawn and garden things.
That one room with the pink and green paints??!! I don't blame you one bit for wanting to paint!!
From having just gone thru a "freshening" of an older home last year, I can tell you that they've already done a lot for you. It looks like a new tile floor in the kitchen. And many of the light fixtures are new. That one bar fixture in the bath, the one with 2 lights, that's for sure newer. And it looked like the brushed nickle finish. Matte?? Not bright and shiny??
The one thing I would do before you make an offer is take a look at their propane bills. We were on propane last winter and it cost us a minor fortune. We had the thermostat set at 60 degrees and burned a ton of wood too. Of course, we were trying to heat a 50 year old house that's insulated like a barn too. But, you might wanna check out their propane bills first. Be sure you know what you're getting into.

Looks good overall, and I think the updating will be fun for you. We have had great success painting over paneling, it was an inexpensive fix and it really looked nice. I would do that in a second before I ever considered removing it.
