we have a bankruptcy that we "hope" will be paid off next month. the last payment has been added to twice by the court. we don't receive any kind of notification or correspondence from our lawyer now, as when we paid him, and he filed, we just kinda got left alone in this matter. we have had 2 vehicle repossessions that we were really hoping to be able to keep when we filed. obviously however, that didn't work out . my question is this, does anyone know if the companies our vehicles were financed with can come back to "haunt" us after the bankruptcy is discharged. right now, this is my greatest fear.
