Cali, you can always create a new forum user name, but unfortunately there's no way to bring over your current history, # of posts, etc. you've made as Cali.

It's definitely a challenge when members accidentally choose very similar user names. We had the same kind of confusion last year when we had several active members with similar versions of "Fresh Start" forum names.

If you want to keep Cali, consider adding something distinctive to your signature area ("I'm Cali, not cali girl") or adding a very distinctive avatar to your Cali username. Just some thoughts...

Congrats on the new car!! Make sure you keep up on the payments so you don't ruin your credit or get a repo. We typically never advise folks recovering from a BK to buy a new car unless they can put down at least 20% on the purchase price. A good negotiated price on a reliable used car with 10-20% down-payment is typically a safer buy for folks recovering from a bad financial situation. If I see cali comes in, I called her "cali one", and if I see cali_girl later, I call her "cali two"! .. so on.. 3, 4, 5, etc....
