Does anyone know if you are responsible for the amount owed on the auto if the bank repos it after discharge? We did not affirm the loan, they asked us to, but we were unsure so, we did not do it. Now we get a letter saying they are coming for the car.

If you stopped making payments on the car, then the lender has every right to repossess it even after your discharge.
However, as long as your car was listed as an asset in your bankruptcy, if you did not reaffirm then you do not owe the lender any money.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
