    I am a nervous wreck

I know I have posted some forums here but I am a nervous wreck about this bankruptcy.

My current truck I am three months behind. But my parents cosigned on the vehicle and they declared bankruptcy so it is ok for right now as it is protected. But I am about to declare bankruptcy. This vehicle is a 2001 with 110,000 miles on it but runs great. I have a daughter and I could use an SUV. But I am so nervous that I will not get financing after discharge and have no vehicle.

I have heard Capital One is great. But for people being approved days after discharge I dont know if these people are making a 100,000 a year or just what. I am the only one that works as my wife is a stay at home mom and I make roughly about 28,000 a year. I need dependable transportation as well as my wife.

Anything is possible, but you may have a very tough time getting financing right out the gate. The late/missed payments ON THE CAR LOAN is what is really hurting your chances of getting a loan right out of BK.

Instead of hoping you will get financing, you should probably think of a contingency plan.

Is there a way to get a cheaper car w/ no financing and work on getting your credit up through another route? A decent higher mileage/ older car for example.

I make $80,000 per year and have about $1200 in monthly expenses (including utilities, rent, and student loans. Living with a boyfriend is great for me. )

I was denied a credit card from Capital One. I was discharged Nov. 2007.

So. Your mileage may vary from creditor to creditor.
