    Approved CapOne!!!

Okay, let me first say, thank you to this site and all the information that you provide.

Now let me tell you that I've been cleaning up my credit report since my discharge on Jan 27, 2008; EX updated everything 2/25: EQ updated everything 2/22: TU well let's just say that they are WORKING ME OUT.

But like said onthis site before what helped me was my credit score prior to file Chapter 13 (810 avg.) PLUS the advice that was given on this site to obtain a secured CC (Orchard $200 limit) while in my 13 went a long way. THANKS FOR THAT INFO

Now here is what HE did for us!

    Date Discharged: 1/27/08
Lender:CapOne !!!BLANK CHECK ON THE WAY
Date Applied For:1st time 8/2/07 DECLINED
Date Applied For:2nd time 2/29/08 APPROVED
    Approval Amount: $30,000
    Interest Rate:OMG!!! 7%
    Term:72

I know, I know, I know, the 72 month term is not the suggested route to take, but for us and our situation we NEED a car. And hey, we may update to a 60 month if we get a good deal..yada yada yada.

This site and other bk sites have been wonderful, it has help tremedously through our dark hours. THANK YOU to everyone for sharing, you really don't know how much it has meant

I head people talking that they get a capital one loan right after discharge. Now does discharge mean right after the 341 meeting or after the 60 day wait?

Congrats! Make sure you only use what you can afford and need, and make sure you are okay with the interest rate you were offered too. All you need to do now is provide proof on income and employment.
