By the time I go for financing on a bike, preferably a Honda, or Harley, I will be 3 or 4 yrs out of BK. I currently have a Honda Civic I am financing with Honda Financial. I have paid them on time for over a year. I also have a $300 Target card, a First Premier for $250, for over a year with perfect payments also. My newest card is a Wamu for $2500 that I've made payments on for a couple of months.Target is only a few months old also. How have others found it to go for financing on a motorcycle, and are there any dealers easier than others? Still waiting for Wamu to show up on my True Credit acount also. I would be seeking to finance $3000-7000. Thanks.

If you haven't done this already, the very first thing to do is get your credit reports from all three credit bureaus and pay myFICO to get your real FICO scores. Spend the time to correct all errors before you go motorcycle shopping (for example, all accounts included in your bankruptcy should show as IIB with a balance of zero).
Right now the lenders are running scared and it's harder to get money than it has been for a long time. Go in at the start with your best credit score possible to increase your chances of getting the loan and at the lowest interest rate possible. Good luck!I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
