Received a preapproval from Cap 1!

Ha, how funny!

Last year, we tried several times to get a blank check loan through Cap 1. Today, I receive a preapproval offer from them for up to $30K! Holy Cow!!!

We tried desperately to trade in our Escalade last year without success. We now owe $15700 on it and it private party's for $13,500....so we're going to keep it until next year, buy me a cheap minivan WITH CASH and then sell the Escalade...NO ESCALADE PAYMENT!!

Who the heck would WANT a $30K car payment!??!

I had a couple of Capital One cards that were included in my bankruptcy. Does this mean that I will not have the chance to finance an auto loan with them? I've heard of some banks giving you credit after you have filed bankruptcy on them. Is Capital One one of those banks?
