I was just discharged on the 19th. Already I have recieved 5 letters from local car dealers about financing. Is this for real? Do they get you in there and then run your credit and say beat it? I'm confused on this one people. I have learned so much in my filing, but I'm lost on this one...

I'm getting offers in the mail

LOL....I got these by the dozens within the first few weeks after my discharge. These trollers watch for the discharges and then send you all kind of offers in the mail.
Anyways, most of those are probably "Fresh Start Programs" offered by the dealerships and they'll say they can get you financed and no one else can get it done. This is totally wrong. I'm sure as you have read here, that many members have had good success getting financed on their own. I would say that is your best bet, because dealerships can be decietful and take advantage of a bad situation in order to line their pockets.
Open the offers if you'd like, but most will say the same thing basically. I just threw them away. Oh yeah, eventually they'll stop coming when you dont reply.Bankruptcy History:
