Capitol 1 blank check if C1 card in BK

Dh and I are filing CH7. I have 2 Capitol 1 cards and dh 1 that will be included. In the past I was approved for a $30,000 blank check with them but didn't use it. In the future if we need to can we get it even if their CC was included in the BK?

Since you are filing Ch 7 and listing CapOne on your creditor list which will force them to eat all three of your credit card balances, going on what others here have said about their dealings with CapOne before and after bankruptcy, I'd be willing to bet that you can kiss that CapOne $30K blank check good bye for a good, long while. It will take years to rebuild your credit to the point after bankruptcy when you can qualify for that size of blank check loan again, especially from CapOne.

I don't think that is necessarily true. DH and I just purchased a 2006 Brand New Nissan Armada w/ a Capital 1 blank check..It was for 38,000.00 and we included a Capital 1 credit card in BK.

Thanks for letting me know my response wasn't accurate, fsugirl. How long after your bk was dismissed did you get your Cap1 blank check? What were the terms?

I included 2 cap 1 charges in my bk and denied a blank check from them. I was approved by roadloans but didn't use it interest rate was toooo high.

It was about 3 months after my discharge before i applied with them. I was financed thru GMAC.

We were about 7 months after d/c. Interest was 11 % for 72 months.

I was denied from capital one blank check due to the fact that I wrote off $1500 on one of their CC.
