I am just doing a little thinking/planning ahead at this point.
I hate to admit, but 11 years ago we did file bk. One year post bk we were able to get an FHA mortgage with the going rate with a 30% down payment. We were told at 2 years we could've had conventional.
I have read posts recently of those not having great luck looking for 0 down.
Don't know if we'll be able to come up with 30% this time but definetly 10% and possibly up to 20% post a year. With a down payment of tht size does anyone know if we could get a good rate at 1 year out?
edited to add: I am really not tryng to rush things! I am stuck at work today, its a beautiful day outside and and I am bored so just looking at houses on realtor.com!!
