FICO credit scores... where to get them?

I know myfico.com (or whatever their website is) has FICO scores for $15 or something... but what I wondered is if there is a FICO monitoring service? I don't necessarily want the credit reports right now, but the FICO score updates. I used to get one of the credit reporting agencies scores through my Providian account but now they don't let me into their site . Any suggestions? I know what my score was from pre-filing (450.. yeah, bad! ) but want to keep up with how it changes from month-to-month. Any suggestions?

The only monitoring services I know of that include a fico score, will only give you one score per month. As far as I'm concerned, the best monitoring service to use is true credit via the walmart link for $11.21/month, then pull your fico scores through myfico.com using the 20% off CPPSAVINGS code, however often you want your real fico scores. I pull them maybe twice a year.

Equifax's score is FICO. I know that WaMu cardholders get their TU FICO free on their cardmember services site.

That's about it - only other way to get all three FICO's free is to apply for a mortgage and then not proceed.

Thanks for the info! I've signed up for the program but I guess it's around $13 now, oh well. Still cheaper than others! One question, though... I know these aren't actual FICO scores... and apparently aren't even close as according to the credit counseling paperwork I got pre-filing, my FICO was 450. You can see my current scores from the three CRA's below. Or... could my credit have improved that significantly??? Doubtful, especially before discharge...

Either way, it is a great way to see the "trend" of scores!

Yes, your credit probably has improved that significantly. Post discharge you should be back into the high 500's low 600's on all 3 of your reports.

As for the price of true credit, if you were charged $13 only for the first month, it should go down to 11 by the next month. I think it charges $2 extra the first month for new members.

            FICO Scores

The only real place to get your true FICO scores is direct from FICO who run the myfico.com website. They have a special site for us straight out of BK who get "extra" information about the negative items the site is

90% of top lenders use FICO Scores. Get credit scores, credit reports, credit monitoring & identity theft monitoring in one place. Whether you're applying for a mortgage, auto loan or new credit, myFICO gives you access to the score you need to apply with confidence.

Also, they have a "scorewatch" product that they will monitor your FICO scores with and send you alerts when your scores change. It's pretty nice.
