How Often Do Credit Scores Update?

I am in the middle of the disputing process and have already noticed on TrueCredit that some of my info is changing, but the scores have not increased yet. Do scores update daily or once a month or what? BTW, I have been updating my report and score every 24 hours. The account info has changed, but not the scores.

    YMMV

There's no set rules the cra's follow except their own on when they update. Usually, it's pretty quick, but keep in mind that a reporting change may not necessarily lead to a change in score - still depends on all their 'other' factors, too.

      Constantly.

True credit scores are fako scores. Not fico scores. Your fico score would reflect changes differently.

I'm aware that TrueCredit scores are not FICO scores but I at least want to see them going up. That at least means I'm winning my disputes.

I have been using truecredit for some time now and it will NOT change unless u refresh and re-purchase a new set of scores.

Although u can see the credit alert updates true credit will not allow u to see the FAKO score updates unless you re-purchase the product... just the score portion needs to be re-purchased.

I've been clicking on the "Update Score" and "Update Credit Report" links every 24 hours. Is that what you mean? The reports change but so far the scores haven't. I don't know. I'll just keep updating until hopefully they change. I have to buy a car soon after discharge so I hope all my disputing will help me out.

Your fico score will change with anything that can do so. That doesn't mean your fako score will reflect a change as well...
