    BUMP after discharge

HI...I just checked PACER today and my last day for objections was 6/25
today my chapter 7 was discharged and closed 6/26....

Can you expect a bump in FICO when the CRA report the discharge??

My scores, from FICO are all right at 600, could I hope for maybe 25 points?

I did open a Crown Jewelers account in the last month, a secured Orchard Card, a Salute Visa card. And did have my dad put on his 2 oldest credit cards has an AU, they both have big credit lines 35K and no balance.

I have started disputing everything that was charged off and listed a balance.

    Anything more I can do??

    Thanks.

      Thanks.
It amazes me more and more how so many people are so quick to get new credit because they think that is the magic key to rebuilding. It's not, and you didn't even wait until your discharge to do it. Time, that is the major key. You need a little time that is all, along with proper disputing of errors.

By the way, FICO will no longer be taking into effect authorized users, so being added to someone's acount for the purpose of bumping your score will no longer be effective.

      Good Luck to ya!
