Where To Start & What should be first

    Just a few questions

    1. On disputing would i dispute all on the report on the first or pick the worst first with a goal to dispute most items over the next 6 months?

    2. As i understand it the dispute needs to be finished in 30 to 45 days. Would i dispute each iten every 50 days so each dispute would not effect the one that is in motion first?

    3. Address - simple i am using a PO Box for personal reasons I need to fix the listed address on Credit reports- not all list the correct address.

General info: Discharge was last month - My car was given back to the bank May 3, 2005 to date not changed is on my credit file. Would this be disputed as not mine? Hoping for a delete?
One card is still showing a balance and late payments / no discharge in BK yet. Would i dispute the same as above?

Just remember, accounts on your credit report are NOT DELETED, merely the substantive entry relating to that account changes. So for example, I am assuming you surrendered your car and when you filed BK your behind on payments, will, I regret to inform you that that negative payment history can be reported for up to seven years.

However, the entry on that account should include something related to Bankruptcy and the balance owed should be -0-.

How does that work? If you have a history of late payments, can bankrupting the account wipe out the late payment info after 7 years leaving only the BK listing?

The late payment history doesn't disappear. Even if you file for Chp7. The account tradeline will specify the particular month(s) which payment was made late.

Yes, but I mean will it disappear after 7 years as opposed to ten. In short, will late payment history prebankruptcy be deleted after 7 years?
