OK, here's a weird one:
I have a line of credit that had been taken out on a house which I had a mortgage on back in 2001. I paid off the LIC...(Bank of America...my favorite (not))...anyhow, I have a $200 balance which they have refused like forever to take off but have not asked for payment on...anyhow...
..in respect to my credit "worthiness" is this open but unused line of credit a good thing, maybe in upcoming years when I, one day, may want to buy another house or get a car loan?
I've yet to see my credit score in numbers as I have no need, did see that my debt ratio is 33% according to Equifax.
Will be paying off two cc's with balances under $500 in the next month...everything seems fine in my credit department, as far as things go at the moment...thank god my bk7 got rid of a big mess...now it's just on to deal with the IRS
