Got credit reports yesterday...Countrywide pulling our reports TWICE in the last 2 mo

So, yesterday, I got our credit reports online...all 6 of them through annualcreditreport.com.

I have Chase reporting that we were 30 days late. Our last payment was due 3-2 and we filed 3-22. Does that qualify for being 30 days late? I don't think it does, but wanted to ask.

We also have our GE Money bank say the same thing...again, payment was due 3-1.

US Bank, both of them, list a "charge off". Jerks! I disputed those 2 right away.

Here's the interesting part....My husband is the only person on our mortgage and on 2 of his reports, it has both parts of the mortgage listed. On one report, it says that it was included in bankruptcy with a zero balance. I disputed it, stating that we had a balance and that were paying as agreed. Should I have done that? We've never been late on the mortgage and I want to get credit for being on time!!

My husband also had hard inquires from Landsafe...on June 6 and July 18th. We called the 1-800 # listed on the credit report and they said they are part of Countrywide and that when we took out our mortgage we gave them authorization to look at our reports. Has anyone heard of this? We're not late with them, so this worries me that they'll keep checking our report and we'll take a hit.

    Thanks!

As to the mortgage included in BK question. Even though you paid your mortgage outside of your BK, it was part of your BK. Sometimes, however, you can get them to change that if you dispute it that you paid it outside of your BK, was always on time and never late. We got our first and second mortgages changed via disputing that they were paid outside the Plan. Some, however, will not change it no matter how hard you may dispute. It never hurts to try. But know they are correct in listing that your mortgage was part of your BK.

As to report pulling by your mortgagor - that fine print gets ya every time...you know all the paperwork you get with all the clauses and fine print when you have settlement? Of course we all don't usually sit there and read it before signing - you agreed to that somewhere in one of those clauses - pull out the paperwork and you will see. You'd be suprised what you agreed to or what you allow them to do when you sign all those papers.

Yes I had one mortgage company report as "120+ days late" when in fact I was 100% current on my mortgage payments right up until my filing date. I made sure of it. As of filing date, I was told I am no longer eligible for "collections proceedings" so they shouldn't be reporting me 120 days late.... right... ?
