Was discharged June 29, 2005. I pulled my credit reports a few weeks ago. My score was 512. There were only two creditors on there that were reporting wrong. I disputed them. They are correct now. My score is now 592. Will it go up and how fast? I did reaffirm on my mortgage and its reporting the same as always current never late.

It all depends
I was very concerned about this same thing when i decided to file. but my scores went from 723 to 477 because of all the debt. Once i got the petition filed i went onto my credit report and checked all creditors to make sure they were included and what do u know the score was at 626 that was because there was no more debt i also kept my car loan, a credit card and my mortgage so that rebuilding wouldnt be so hard after i filed. I advised u to check out this website too...<link removed> the people that hold these seminars are fantastic, and their methods work they bring mortgage, and finance company sponsors with them that are willing to work with the bankrupt.Last edited by HRx; 09-22-2005, 12:20 PM.

Score
Mathematically, it is difficult to tell how much your score will go up. Focus on paying your bills on time and not maxing out on your CCs. You can pull your free credit reports 3 months apart to see your progress.

Getting all three of your reports to reflect accurate/positive data was an excellent move. Your credit score is going to increase over time.........and from making constistent timely payments over the course of a few years, towards the new lines of secured/unsecured credit you obtained. Simply following responsible credit utilization..........will enable you to obtain prime financing within 3-5 years, it can take some folks even longer to obtain prime financing offers too. So don't lose hope!Originally posted by tdoodersWas discharged June 29, 2005. I pulled my credit reports a few weeks ago. My score was 512. I also want to say, stop worrying so much abou the score itself. It can vary from day to day and week to week.
Worry about getting postive trade lines established, and paying on time. That's what creditors really look at!BUSY running my own credit repair services! Sorry I don't stop in so often any more!
