    Credit Card Application

What do you fill out in the rent or own if you are living with your in-laws right now and not paying any rent?

We pay for the phone, our internet service, 1/2 of the electric bill, our own satellite dish and for all of the groceries. But we don't have to pay them a monthly rent.

I'd suggest choosing "rent" and stating the rent as the average amount of the bills you pay. Others that are more experienced may chime in with better answers though. Hope this helps!

Just ask your in-laws what they would charge a complete stranger for rent, and use that figure.

The correct listing would be to list "reside with inlaws (parents)" with "0" as the amount of rent. However, since there appears to be an agreement with your inlaws that you pay a portion of some expenses or all of some household expenses (you are contributing to the household income), you could list that amount as your rent for being able to stay there. Maybe there is someone on here more familiar with rental agreements that can help you out.
