Report dates with CR's

I filled BK in Dec '03. The CR agencies have items reporting as of 9/08. Some report '07, etc. Is this bad? Does this make it like my CR is being updated by the credit issuers I filed bk against? In other words, does it mean on my CR that the 7 year thing doesn't exist? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

They will drop off 7 years after you filed. Creditors just update whenever they feel like it. The public record of your filing will however stay on there for 10 years.
