Hey, would CHEX SYSTEMS halt the reordering of checking account checks? I just ran out and ordered new checks and wonder if I would get flagged.

You should be fine, but just in case you're not, order them from Costco online. They are much cheaper than how much the bank charges to have Chex Systems do them. All you really need is a Costo membership and your Bank's routing # and account #.

Chexsystems is not a checks ordering company. They just have histories of folks who are check bouncers.
Would however advise you NOT to go with fly by night check ordering outfits, but with your bank's. It might cost you a little extra - but your account information will remain safe from possible ID/account info. thieves. One more word of advice: When you reorder checks do it over the phone on/with your bank's 1-800 number, online, or just walk the reorder form into a branch and hand it to the CSR.Comment
