I applied for a Capital One CC and was accepted with a limit of $3,000 with a $29 annual fee. Seriously...$3,000? I want to rebuild my credit but did not expect a limit that high. I think I will charge gas on it once a month and then back in the safe until next month. The funny thing is before my bk, I had total credit lines of over $120,000. But now the $3,000 scares me, I guess ignorance really was bliss. LOL

It's too bad I had Cap One (auto loan) included in my BK, or else that may have been the first card I went with. I did try Cap One anyways about 6 months and the BK was the reason for the denial.

        Orchard Bank

I tried a capital one card... but was also denied due to the BK. I did however get an Orchard Bank card with 8.9% and $500 limit.

          Basically all HSBC cards:
          I got 2:
Best Buy, and Orchard - both low limits ($500 and $750 respectively)
WAMU - I got $2500 limit a month or two before Chase bought them out. I was lucky in that respect.
GM - Don't know how they are to apply now, but they were the ONLY account I had open but did not owe anything (out of 4-5 like this) that let me "ride through" and keep them through the bankruptcy. They did however lower my limit from $5,000 to $305. Yes you read that right: $305!
I've heard others say that CapOne will give you a card but not if you filed against them, as I did.
