Credit Reporting Question

Hi,
A question. I was discharged in March 04. However some creditors reported my account late or CO, included in Ch. 7 as late as 9/04. Are they allowed to do this? They recieved notice in March. I am concententrating on my Experian report first.

You'll have to write them a letter and include a copy of our BK Petition/schedule and DC paperwork. In your letter tell the creditor to update your account to reflect "Zero" balance and "BK7". Cc this letter to the credit bureaus too. You'll want to mail your letters via certified mail.
