Well transunion I have been doing pretty good with cleaning up my report, but equifax. They continue to report inaccurate information, and tell me to dispute it with the creditor and it is not their problem. I was just wondering can they do this? Are they not the ones who it is their responsibility to verify and report accurate information. So do they just go by whatever the creditor feeds them? I just disputed stuff on my equifax report online last month, and just got the review in the mail today, and they state they have updated all requested investigated items. Well most they reported had been recorded accurately.
But then next to them it states any further questions contact the creditor. Anyway when I go to do another online dispute, well I notice that the dispute form doesn't list all the stuff on my credit report, ironically only the stuff that is accurate, what the heck! It then states that any other information that is not listed on this dispute form would have to be disputed by mail, or phone.
