judgements still showing on CR

I had some judgements against me, which were included in a ch7. Everything was discharged including the judgements back in 2001

Got my credit reports and all the judgements are still showing with the dollar amount. I disputed these items once already and they responded saying these are valid accounts.

Should judgements still show? At least they should say they were included in the Ch7 and not show the amount, right?

They will still show-judgements come off 7 years after they were filed. I'm not sure if judgements get updated to $0, because it is a true statement that the judgement was filed for $X and that is what the line is reporting.

The good news is that if its been 4+ years since your BK, those have to be getting close to 7 years now.

Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's.
