credit report question. When to dispute

I have had my 341 meeting as of 10/6/05 and all my cards show charged off included in bankruptcy except one. Should I challenge it or wait until I am discharged from bankruptcy.
    thanks,

    Wait until discharge!

Things could change between now and then,.

I disagree. Start challenging. I did so while waiting discharge. I dramatically improved my scores. I was just discharged last week. I am glad that I didn't wait until my discharge was final.

Just wanted to add, I made sure that all creditors were listed as included in bankruptcy. Do not apply for new credit while in bankruptcy. Wait for discharge.

And if the person is NOT granted a discharge? It has happened before.

I strongly suggest waiting until discharge, and therefore, you won't have even MORE hassle if you were to do it beforehand!

This is a valid point, however the percentages are greatly in favor of them being discharged.
And what "MORE" hassles will they have. The lender will report that it has not been discharged and it will go back on the report and this time they will not be able to dispute the fact. How is that a hassle?
Why not go with the percentages and start now. Some lenders report that a bill is in Bk long before discharge, why can't a lender do the same?
I'm sorry to appear dense, but I just don't get the point. It would seem to me that working on clearing your CR would be a cathartic and cleansing act if nothing else. Art
