    Derogatory

I am working hard to clean up my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus. There are so many inacuracies on all three of them. My question is..whether marked included in bankruptcy or not included in bankruptcy butshould be marked included in bankruptcy, the condition is derogatory on some of them. Does this make a difference whether it is marked closed or derogatory. What exactly does derogatory in this situation mean?
    Thank you,
    Hal

You'll want all the debts listed on your schedules to reflect Chp7 BK and -$0- Balance. . This will make it a lot easier for you to start rebuilding your credit.

If I didn't answer your question correctly, just let me know.

    Good Luck!

I just got my credit reports (3 in 1 type) and noticed some credit bureaus reporting the same account as -closed (paid)- while the other two listed the same account as -derogatory-
Do I contact the creditor or the bureau?

I'm still a little confused as to why some are listed as derogatory

On the van that was repossessed I have two entries into my credit report one is marked as: collection/pay status: collection/chargeoff and the other one marked collection/pay status: repossession. They are both marked condition: derogatory. In the remarks section they have written: unpaid balance reported as a loss by credit grantor, chared off as bad debt/profit and loss writeoff, charged off account.

No mention of chapter 7 bankruptcy at all. What should I do there? Should both of them reflect the bankruptcy or only one. What legal info do I have on them reporting it accurately?

Thank you so much for any help
