    Credit Score

I just pulled my credit for transunion only and it says my score is 645.

I am still not discharged, but all of my accounts are showing 0 that I included in the bankruptcy, and everything looks like it is reported correctly. When I am discharged next month, will my score go up, or stay about the same?!?!

I am ecstatic that I was able to pull through with that score as it is... I have been making my car payment and student loan payment religiously, and I am sure that's why my score is still as high as it is!!!

      Thanks...

You don't know how excited I am about that little 3 digit number!

With a car payment and student loans, plus verizon reports to the bureaus, do I REALLY need to get a credit card to rebuild?

I am afraid of credit cards right now still, but I want to rebuild so that I can buy a home in about 2 years...

yes credit cards are the key. they carry the most weight besides a mortage.

just wait for a good offer to come and take it. no rush.

i deal with all cash anyways. girls like it like that

*flipping through my wad of fresh crispy $5 bills*

In time, it should improve as the BK and accounts get older. Congrats on the score-just keep in mind that if it didn't come from FICO, its not the ones the creditors use!

How close would truecredit's score be to the fico?

I actually do have one account that is showing 30 days late, and I never paid it late... so, I will need to correct that...

There is no way to tell... FAKO's can be off, either too high or too low. Truecredit has one formula for computing scores, FICO has another.

Personally, when I've checked FICO, my TC score was higher by 30-40 points. There is no pattern though. You could ask a bunch of people, and their results would all vary.

I thought I would follow up since I have monthly monitoring...

                  Last month- 645
                  This month-666

I also noticed that Direct Merchants bank has me listed as 2-30's 1-60 and 3-120+ days late... all during the bankruptcy, when I switch those to included in chapter 7 bankruptcy I hope to improve more.

I am 2 weeks away from discharge day and holding... so far no news from creditors or trustee...

This is all FAKO coming from true credit...

But prior to filing, when I pulled my credit to make sure I listed all accounts on my schedules... I was at 625... that was 10/05, so now that some of the debt burden has came off and I still have good accounts reporting, it is starting to bounce back...

Keep in mind, I have a car note, always paid on time, and my student loans didn't discharge, I have loans from 3 different lenders, and they are all reported separate, so it looks like I have 4 positive tradelines, plus verizon wireless reports to credit bureaus, so I guess technically 5 positives...

                      I am excited beyond belief!
